In this piece I made a video on a small indie title from The Game Bakers called Haven, talking about the game in general terms and what made me love it. The story is of two runaways who are trying to be together despite their societies wishes.

The skills on display are mostly to do with the hue and saturation tool; for two on the left the image is initially in grayscale and I found that a little lacking for a YouTube thumbnail so I decided to color match the two to their official artwork of the games cover. Everything except the shirts they wear had to be colored; from their skin, to their hair, to the drinks they’re holding.

For the background I simply took the Male Loving Male pride flag, smudged it, and added a blur to make it a nice pop of color, but not be overwhelming to the viewer. The logo I added a purple gradient as well as its default is white and it seemed to draw the eye in a more distracting way then a positive one.
